The challenge
Making the website feel as good as the actual visit
Maison Blanche already had a strong reputation, built over years of word of mouth — but people searching for the salon online weren't getting a first impression that matched Wilson Júnior and Blanche Leite's actual work. The site needed to turn that earned trust into real bookings, not just visits.
The solution
Treat the site like a showcase, not a flyer
The answer was to design the experience with the same tools a premium brand would use: serif typography with editorial weight, a neutral palette with a single gold accent, and navigation that puts the people behind the scissors front and center. Every decision was tied to the business, not just aesthetics.
Color palette
Paper
#FFFFFF
Clean background that lets real photos and haircuts breathe, without competing with the product.
Soft
#F5F3EF
Used in content blocks to create reading rhythm without breaking visual continuity.
Ink
#0D0D0D
Text and rules — a slightly warm black, friendlier than pure black.
Muted
#5F5F5F
Supporting text, for clear hierarchy without losing legibility.
Gold
#B89962
The site's only color accent. Reads as premium salon without falling into the industry's cliché — used sparingly to keep its value.
Typography
Display
Aa
Instrument Serif
Editorial, showcase-like weight; italics keep it light instead of robotic.
Accent
Aa
Inria Serif · bold
Reinforces the headline's key words, like a magazine pull-out.
Body
Aa
Inter
Clean, neutral letterforms for easy reading on any screen.
Design decisions
01
Cinematic hero
Sequenced entrance (headline, subhead, button, image) to create the same first impression of care the client feels in the chair.
02
Interactive founders stage
Instead of a static 'about' section, visitors interact with Wilson and Blanche's portraits — building a personal connection before ever booking, essential for a trust-based service.
03
Social proof up front
Real testimonials in a carousel with gold stars, reinforcing years of earned reputation.
04
Always-visible CTA
High-contrast booking button, repeated in the hero and the close, to turn visits into bookings.
Impact
“The interface gains more visual signature and delivers a refined first impression of the brand.”
